Whenever the Nobel Prize winners are announced and someone from UChicago makes the list, I need you to appear in the shadows of their room like an academic cryptid and whisper from every corner of the room: “Your name is now on the UChicago website as a Nobel Prize winner…” Then, before they can process what’s happening, ring a massive bell that sounds like it was forged in the mines of Erebor.
